Here at Tiny Tapir we love natural 'cosmetic' products - those products which aren't full of terms and ingredients any lay person would not know how to pronounce let alone understand! 

Soaps are a product we use on a daily basis, it's such a given we don't even think about it much short of how it smells.

However, modern day soaps off the supermarket shelves are full of chemicals and fragrances, not to mention they've been highly processed to remove glycerin - that's why using 'modern' soap often leaves our skin feeling dry (what better way to get more profit than to sell you that glycerin removed from soap as a moisturizer? An ingenious way to get customers to pay twice for the same product).

Not to mention that soaps (and everything else that's used in our showers and baths) get washed down the drain.  Using lots of artificially fragranced and colored soaps means that our shower water contributes to pollution of our precious water reserves. Yes, water is everywhere, but clean water is getting harder and harder to find.
