child clothings & shoes

Only a generation ago, it was thought that children learning to walk needed stiff hard soled shoes to support their ankles and arches.
However, research since then has shown that the feet of young children are soft and pliable, and that their arches are plenty strong to support their weight. As such, pressure from the wrong kind of shoe can harm the natural development of their feet.
Pediatricians now recommend that children up to two years of age go barefoot. However, it's not always practical for kids to go bare-foot. The solution for that are lightweight, soft soled, flexible shoes which are breathable and allow the child's feet to grow naturally. Soft soled shoes also let children feel the texture of the ground under their feet, helping to develop their sense of balance.
