For inserts, you can only stuff a maximum of 2 Inserts into each pocket at one time. Note a Pocket diaper can only be used once before you must wash it (can't just remove soiled inserts and put in new inserts and reuse the same pocket diaper without washing the pocket diaper itself). So for example if you buy 3 pocket diapers, only buy a max. of 6 inserts (you probably only need 4 in actuality, double stuffing is really only for night time).

A Well Made Diaper

Bumwear diapers were the majority of my stash for most of my daughter's diapering days. I had 12 diapers and they lasted me about 18 months before the PUL started giving out. But they were definitely well used! Besides the PUL starting to give out, they were in great shape! I did have leaks out the legs from these diapers, but I expect I'd have the same problem with any pocket diaper lined with fleece. The prints are definitely super adorable!! I used this diaper overnight with 2 inserts and I sometimes had leaks from repelling, but never from not enough absorbency. It never left red marks on my daughter and was always soft and comfy!

Roomy diaper

I have 6 pcs of bumwear. They are not my favorite, but i still keep it. Nothing much can i say about them. They are roomy compare to Itti Bitti. and the it has a wide opening at the leg area. I always has a problem with the leaking, I don't know why :( And I have to spend more for buying the insert, since BW sells the insert seperately.

Diaper for Chunky Babies

Bumwear works for my chunky baby. The thigh elastics are snug enough to keep the runny poo from leaking out while being gentle on my baby's chunky thighs, leaving minimal elastic marks. I like that the waist has elastics at the back and front, for a better fit. The super absorbent microfiber inserts are easy to stuff in (wear it like a mitten and stuff into the pocket!). And the colours are so vibrant and striking!

Great product, just didn't fit my baby's shape

The concept is great, the PUL is soft, and the workmanship is quite good. The prints are one of a kind. But my baby didn't suit the diaper. She was tall and lanky, the Bumwear Petite could have been a better fit. If my baby was a bit rounder and chubbier then maybe it would fit better. The inserts are very absorbent and dry quite fast. I could use 2 inserts in the nappy for night time until she was almost 1 year old.

A diaper that grows on you..

This diaper is a great idea with mixed results. I've had it for awhile now, and for a long time it didnt fit either of my babies well enough to NOT leak at the legs. But now as my baby becomes a toddler, lo and behold, its almost the perfect diaper! So soft, so roomy,so cute and NO leaks! You'll either love or hate this diaper. But you'll never know until you try :-)

This trim fitting diaper is great! The inner fleece stays soft, the snaps are easy to use and don't allow sagging in a one-size, and come in amazingly cute colors and patterns. I turn to it first at night time.
