I love to use this diaper pins with my traditional lampin since my mum also practice using this afew years back ago during she is babysittering other Kids.
I used to use pins with prefolds, and they can surely hold the prefolds in place (on baby of course!). You need a little bit of practise to use them, but once you get the hang of it, it's no problem at all!
