The ERGO Baby Carrier's ergonomic design supports a correct sitting position for the baby's hip, pelvis and spine growth.

It disperses most of the baby's weight between the hips and thighs, which helps to eliminate compression of the spine when hanging by the crotch.

The ERGO also balances the baby's weight to parents' hips and shoulders, and alleviates physical stress for the parent.

Fabulous SSC for back carrying
By Rebecca
I bought this carrier when my baby outgrew the ring sling: she was getting too tall but wasn't happy with the hip carry. I also needed to help my hubby do up his office so wanted something more supportive like a two-shouldered carrier, and also be able to back-carry. I loved to use it. Used it when painting the walls of the office and other work. She would fall asleep while I'm working! I used it when travelling as well, really helped when I was travelling solo with my one-year-old daughter. The only thing was, my daughter had quite a long torso, and loved to arch her back when sitting in the carrier. IF she is on the back and does a back arch it could throw me off balance. OTher than that, a great overall carrier.
