The Catbird Baby mei tai is based on traditional Chinese baby carriers. You can use our mei tai with newborns and toddlers alike in four carrying positions. The fit is highly customizable through tying methods.

on your back
with your detachable flat sleeping hood (included with purchase) when your little one's head gets floppy

This carrier has all the features of our regular mei tai but comes in certified organic cotton canvas in a colorblock pattern of espresso brown straps and hood and deep orange body. Comes standard with our hideaway hood that tucks entirely into the carrier body and our unique elastic cinching mechanism that lets you make the carrier exactly as wide as you want!
