Yuan soap is handmade in Taiwan with all natural ingredients.  A purist at heart, this is all about Yuan soap, straight from the Founder's mouth :

" "Handmade" is probably a term that least satisfies the requirement for profitability in the 21st century economy.  For example, some people thought "Yuan Soap fails to meet the mark as all of them seem to be inconsistent in their colors, scents and appearance.  The first and last piece of soap from the same pot are different in terms of their hardness.  There's no quality management here!"

"However, we at Yuan Soap will never be convinced to add any coloring, essence oil, fragrance-fixing agent, color fixing agent etc to make our soaps look better.  Nor do we want to add Stearic Acid or Parrafin Wax to plump up our soap.

"Even if it pleases your immediate sense of sight and smell, you will detest me later for adding those ingredients. 

"You do not need revelations to lead a healthy life and beauty is a matter of choice.  The high mountains of Taiwan hide a plentitude of beneficial ingredients.  We also use a wide variety of vegetables, fruits, mugworts, patchoilis, dandelions, aloe veras, loofahs, camphor trees, cypresses, Chinese soap berries, volcanic mud, sedimentary soil from the plains of Taiwan.  All these are wonderful resources that clean skin while keeping it healthy.  These are ingredients our ancestors used for thousands of years - why do we want to stray away from them?

"As chronic diseases develop with science and as the number of skin clinics and cleansing products increases, we continue to let our bodies get battered and worn.  Is this bravery? Or gullibility?

"Too many people suffer from acne, pimples, eczema, and atopic dermatitis.  If they stop applying their medication, they will have a relapse.  Part of this is because their bodies have a poor ability to adjust themselves, but another major reason is because of their protracted contact with skincare products, cosmetics and cleaning products that are full of synthetic chemical ingredients.

"Printed items of Yuan soap are printed with harmless soybean-based ink and packaging moulds are made with edible grade high polymer materials.

"While knowing that the skin can look good by absorbing the nutrients of skincare products, we must not ignore the fact that th eskin can also absorb chemical properties (chronic).  Are problems of liver, kidneys and skin related only to diet and stress?"
