Parenthood Fair Photos – August 2009

The parenthood fair has come and gone for another year (and boy, was it any easier the second time round? well… slightly, but still really tiring!).

It was great to see customers face to face (for those that haven’t made the trek to Ampang Park yet), and even better to see so much interest over cloth diapers and babywearing. Our sales girls explained exactly *what* a cloth diaper was to many newly expecting and new mums and dads so many times that I’m sure they felt like human tape recorders!

Another change from 2008, our baby carrier brand owners joined along the fun and were at the booth to demonstrate their products to everyone who came along for questions. Thanks to Joanne from Littlepods, Jess from Peekaroobaby, Syaz from Jumpsac, Chin Nee from Mama Patch and Farid from Mei’s Mei Tais for making the effort to come and spend time with us. There were definitely some parents who benefited from their coaching.

(special shout out to the couple who drove from out of state specially to come buy their carrier!)

Huge big thanks to everyone who contributed and came to visit us. Even though the Fair visitor numbers were way down from 2008 (due to the start of Ramadan and that pesky A H1N1), we had a really great time and look forward to an even better Parenthood 2010!
